Another beautiful day in the mountains.

At the top of this hill, we stopped to check out a snow pit that was made by the guys who broke trail. As soon as I started skinning again, I began to slip on the crust layer. The whole pocket just ripped out and took me down into the bushes in a t-shirt and no gloves. Always fun to go for a little ride.

Mt. Raymond up there was the target but all the snow on the east and south faces consolidated to a thin wet layer. Even if the same sized slide started off the summit, youd be goin for a ride into trees and rocks.

So we headed over to Circle Awl peak for some north facing pow.

Wet skins on dry fluff = The Dreaded Clump. It only gets worse.

On top lookin south at Kessler peak. You can see all our lines from the day on The Fuzzy Naval.

Definitely made the right move. The snow was blower!

You can see another little slide chasing me over my shoulder.

Skinned back up to the peak and it started to clear up.

I love my polarizer…. sunglasses for my camera.

Aweeesssoommeee.

Another buttery pow run back to the road.

And back to the shred wagons.
