Another early morning start in suburbia.

Entering the snow jungle.

We are a little retarded and didnt find the access road.

Instead, we took the never ending hateful bushwack.

How do I get myself into these situations?

Finally! After almost 4 hours of bullshit, we emerged from the bushwack from hell. Even though we were trailbreaking through deep powder, it was amazing to just set our skis straight and hike. That stretch shouldve only taken us an hour or so.

Next up…. the dreaded glob! Each step was like lifting weights with your legs. Pretty brutal.

But we can’t be stopped!

After a much needed lunch break and some chill time in an open meadow, it was time to keep truckin.

Lookin down on a city of millions.

And into the Lone Peak upper cirque.

Reaching the saddle, there were nice views into upper Bell Canyon.

Lone Peak in all of its glory. One of 22 11,000′ peaks in the Wasatch. The original plan was to summit Lone and shred that big open face then come up and do Crow’s. Since it took us so long to do that bushwack, we didnt have enough daylight to do both.

So we climbed a neighboring peak.

And got ready for the first drop.

Mark and Zach went too far down and cliffed out huge. Somehow, I found the only sketchy line through the cliffs and started to put in an up track while my buddies booted up to the little passageway.

Gaining the ridge, I got somma the most epic views I’ve had all season.

Hung out for a while, soaked up the scenery and dropped with the sunset.

One last look over to Twin Peaks and Sunrise.

It was a pretty surreal experience to ride that creamy goodness with the red light of the sun illuminating your turns.

With just enough light bouncin around to make it to the city with no headlamp.

That was fun.
