After chewin the fat and skating the Volcom park for another 4 hours, I thought I’d take a stroll up to Lake Tahoe.

Checked out a coupla trailheads in Mammoth.

And took a drive through the woods.

On the road again…. headed north.

Made it to the Gardnerville skatepark just in time for a sunset session.

The next day, Chris told me about a little zone that has some good lines for solo touring.

The pillows!

The trees.

Jackpot!

Oh the possibilities.

On the summit of Talking Mountain, I got my first look at Lake Tahoe. A huge contrast to Salt Lake where you look out over a massive city. I think I like this better.

Northwest towards the Desolation Wilderness.

Took a little ridge ride and dropped into the pillow run.

Climbed up to Becker Peak, lookin back at my tracks. The snow was suprisingly fun. Once the corn style snow got in the shade, it got faster and carvable.

Stoked to be in California!

For a brew.

And a chute all the way out onto Echo Lake.

Then a sunset at Emerald Bay.
