All photos of me are by Brook Golling.

3.5 miles in, there were lots of Wasatch wiggles on Red Pine Peak.

Headin up, we could see our sunset run on White Baldy to the left.

Brook lookin back with Tanners Gulch right above me.

 Alpine Ridge lookin east.

And west. If you look close, you can see my buddies Mark and Robin on top of the Pfiefferhorn.

I’m totally gunna rip down this on my skis.

Brook had a better idea. He pointed out this wave to surf so we swapped cameras and I pointed it.

This spot was a little pocket of protected pow in a sea of corn. So much fun… just like skating a bowl… but much better.

A coupla turns.

A Euro carve, and we’re headin up again.

Back to the ridge.

Got a look into Red Pine.

And passed up the rock now officialy named Straddle Rock… very awkward.

A look over the shoulder.

Alllmost to the top of our line. Lookin into American Fork Canyon.

Dry Creek.

Mmmm… PB & J bagel and fresh tangerines. That hit the spot.

Don’t trip.

Stoked! I love it up here.

You could see the Cold Fusion Couloir on the north summit of Mt. Timpanogos and the highest point in the Wasatch Range… Mount Nebo in the background.

I didnt want to leave.

The sun set over Lone Peak.

We took a final look at the Great Salt Lake & The Obelisk.

And there it goes…. lets drop!

We found every type of snow imaginable… corn on the south faces, wind buff on the ridges, dust on crust and some really good pow in the high elevation north facing trees. We rounded the corner outta Red Pine and back into White Pine. It was really intense flying down the trail in the dark but we managed to make it back to the trailhead by the time it was pitch black….. good times.
