Big Cottonwood Canyon: Spruces Campground, up Mill D North Fork to the top of Birthday Chute above Dog Lake and back.

Elevations: 7,300′ – 9,330′

This fork is the best place to go in high avy conditions. Everything is wooded, low angle and covered in deep fluff.

Moose on the trail.

Hope I dont get pulled over on the way down.

Bout 2 miles up, I jumped off the skin track to break trail up the tree chute.

Pointed it through the bushes and surfed waist deep pow for 2,000 vertical feet to the road.

I heard that the Great Western lift at Brighton was opening for the first time of the year so i met up with Tyler and spent the rest of the day in the white room….

Saw a polar bear too.
