¬†After a week of countless pow laps at Brighton with all the homies, it was time to get out the camera again and take a journey into the backyard from Solitude. I havn’t worked an hour there in a long time but my pass still worked so it was off to the summit lift.

Startin the day off right with 20 steps of hiking for a straight shot into Twin Lakes. Definitely somma the deepest conditions of the year. I just did 4 big turns to the bottom.

Skinned up and off to Twin Lakes Pass.

Brook is one of my favorite guys to be in the backcountry with. We never fail to dig a pit and are constantly talking about the snow. I always learn somthin from him when we go out. Tess (Brook’s sister) was along for the ride today. It was her first time skinning and she couldnt have caught a better day to do it.

After checkin out an east aspect, we took a pillow run down a south face of Grizzly Gulch. It looked too good to pass up.

All smiles at the bottom.

So we climbed back up through the woods.

And into the abyss.

Skinned up to East Bowl of Silver Fork.

And just what we thought. Perfect.

This line is all time fun because you can see the whole thing. With how deep it was, you could just mob down this thing and feel like a super hero. This is what dreams are made of.

Ready for more, we climbed back up to Flanigans.

For yet another waist deep run all the way to my cabin.

Nothin but cold smoke.
